Cemetery is located 2 1/2 miles east of Lima ohio on Reservoir Road between Roush Road and Fetter Road.
The name comes from this story:
"Tony" was a pet of the Corns family. When Tony died after a long and faithful life, he was buried on the Osman family farm at a spot where the Ottawa River curved through a section of the farm. The curve resembles the outline of a dog's head and since "Tony" was buried at the point, the place became known to family and friends as Tony's Nose. The section became a family burial plot and the name continues to be used.
The cemetery is located in Bath Township, Allen County, Ohio, and is # 162 (Tonys Cemetery / Tonys Nose Cemetery / Tony Nose Cemetery) in “Ohio Cemeteries 1803-2003”, compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society.
The cemetery is registered with the Ohio Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing (ODRE) as Tony’s Nose Cemetery with registration license number CGR.2001014242.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) feature ID for the cemetery is 1047095 (Tony Nose Cemetery / Tony’s Nose Cemetery).
