The United American Cemetery is located in Columbia Township with an entrance off Duck Creek Road. The cemetery was founded in 1844 by the United Colored American Association and dedicated three years later. It is thought to be the oldest African-American cemetery in Ohio. The Association was incorporated in 1882. In 1968, the cemetery was transferred to the Union Baptist Church.
