The cemetery is on the north bank of this short stretch of road in the trees. Gravestones can be seen a short distance into the woods at the highest point of the roadbank.
A visit to the Apprasal District Office in Georgetown revealed that this cemetery is owned by the Gardner Cemetery, Taylor, TX 76574, and as a cemetery is tax exempt. It consists of 47,916 sq feet or 1.1 acres and is shaped like a triangle. The address is listed as CR 366 Taylor, TX 76574. The The Williamson County property ID number is R375793.
On 20 July 2013, this cemetery was cleaned up by Troop 405 of the Boy Scouts in accordance with a plan drawn up by Eagle Scout candidate, Jackson Spencer. Trees and brush were cut and piled up at one end of the cemetery by the scouts and their parents and friends. The fallen and broken gravestones were repaired by Wayne Ware of the Williamson County Historical Commission with the assistance of John J. Christeson and the Scouts.
