Pine City Cemetery, Holcomb, Dunklin County, Missouri. This view is on the left side of the dirt road down the middle of the cemetery. At the horizon is Highway 25 between Holcomb and Frisbee. This view is to show you how many unmarked gravesites about at Pine City.

Pine City Cemetery, Holcomb, Dunklin County, Missouri. This view is just a little more to the left with Highway 25 at the horizon. You can see how many open spaces there are. Jim Ward, the current Pine City administrator says there are only three or four empty plots left in the whole cemetery.

This view is from about the same spot with Highway 25 at the horizon and looking toward the right with Mr. Ward's storage building at the upper right corner. On 29 June 2010, my son and I walked the cemetery and photographed all the headstones. Mr. Ward told us that day that all the plots in this view are filled, and as you can see, dozens of unmarked graves are here. If you have wondered why nobody can find a headstone that you requested, this is the reason. Too many are unmarked.
