Ed and Dale, the volunteer caretakers, started caring for the cemetery in about 2000, when many headstones were broken, face down, and overgrown. They have done a great job cleaning up and repairing the cemetery.

A beautiful old cemetery which could have been forgotten but is under good care.

Graves ranges from the late 1850's to present.

The Bloomfield area is sparsely populated, but this cemetery is kept well maintained.

Off 116 west turn left on Lone Pine, then right on Bloomfield Road. After a couple of miles, before Valley Ford Rd., go right on Sutton Rd. At top of hill is the cemetery. A lovely location with expansive views of the surrounding hills.

Bloomfield Cemetery

From the 101 Freeway, the fastest way to the Bloomfield Cemetery(with the least amount of traffic), is to exit Highway 116 west at Cotati and turn left on to Stony Point Road going south, then turn right on to Roblar Road heading west to its junction wih Valley Ford Road. Turn right on to Valley Ford Road, then right on Bloomfield Road and left on Sutton St. The cemetery is at the top of the hill at the corner of Sutton & Hillview streets.
