The graveyard surrounds a small church which was completed and consecrated in 1854. It was originally a private burial ground for the Malcolm family, whose now-ruined mansion of Poltalloch House is located 200 metres to the west. Within the church are various plaques to the Malcolm family including the church's founder Neill Malcolm who died in 1857. In 1925 the church and graveyard were united with Christ Church, Lochgilphead. The church is sometimes locked so permission may need to be sought to enter. The graveyard can be accessed by parking at the Moine Mhor car park, crossing the road and a gate, and walking over a bridge and along a farm track for about a mile.
