Photos

A cemetery for Presbyterians, denominated seceders, evangelicals and such. No longer in use for burials. Appears on the Ordnance Survey maps of 1856, which shows crossing paths and a number of graves. By 1922 the church which served the congregation was no longer in use and the redevelopment of the area in the 1960s hastened the demise of the cemetery. The local civic council now looks after the site, which is closed to the public, but can be viewed through the railings at nearby Brookhill Crescent.. Not many more than a dozen or so grave markers are on the land. The site is adjacent to the large Catholic cathedral which dominates the nearby landscape, with a large stone wall separating the locations.
