Calvary Cemetery

501 Fortune St.
Marlin, Falls County, Texas, 76661 USA
Memorials 5,467 added (88% photographed)

The massive city cemetery is absolutely stunning. There are large trees, shrubs, and plants to make it a shady and restful burial ground. Small rolling hills are located from end to end to add to the appeal. The property is fenced with metal fencing with brick columns and the sign in located on the front columns. The roads are all paved and nicely labeled with Family names of some of the deceased. Areas of the cemetery have massive ornate headstones, crypts, and mausoleums. One unique grave was covered by a concrete looking bed, another few were covered with deeply stacked bricks, and the most unusual marker was a replica of a telephone pole. Many family plots are encased in curbing, and many others are surrounded by antique fencing. The land is maintained. This is the largest city cemetery in Marlin Texas. The cemetery has no burial plots for sale, Hillcrest Cemetery on the east side of town, is now the city cemetery and selling plots.

From Marlin turn west on Hwy 7 and drive through town until you see Burnett Street. You will turn right on Burnett and dead end into the burial ground.
