James Arnold visited this lot 12 Oct 1890 (Vol 3, Pg 149) In lot on the west side of Spectacle Pond and between it and the railroad, a burial yard of the Fenner family. Lot very well fenced and surrounded by a row of indens and maples. This cemetery shows on the plat map titled "Plan of part of the Almoran Harris Estate, plan H" December 1874 at the Cranston City Hall. It is between the railroad and Tongue Pond (not Spectacle Pond as stated by Arnold). There in nothing left of this cemetery in its original location. Archaelogical test trenches dug in June 2000 did not find any evidence of this lot. A shopping center is to be built here in 2001. recorded in 1912 by Louise Prosser Bates The Fenners were removed to Locust Grove Cemetery in Providence (PV004) while the Buntings and James were removed to Pawtuxet Highland Cemetery in Warwick (WK142) George S Fenner purchased the south half of lot #197 in Locust Grove Cemetery on 18 Apr 1904. Charles & Martha Benns found the Col. Richard Fenner and wife Sarah stones at Locust Grove Cemetery in 1933 (their #255).
