Prior to about 1830 in "back country" S. C., many churches had not yet established church cemeteries. People were buried on the home-place property, with or without lasting markers.
This is a fictitious burying ground, and I arbitrarily chose Peak, S. C. as the site of the Crims Creek settlement area in order that early immigrants dying in the area can have a general location (and indicate that they had not migrated elsewhere & died elsewhere).
