The Chauncey Cemetery refers to private cemetery P-7 in the book of military and private cemeteries at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland [1]. As reported by Jon H. Livezey – Photographs of some stones from this cemetery are in the Archives Division of the Historical Society of Harford County. A note locates the cemetery as about 200 meters in front of the James T. Turner home. This site located south of Old Baltimore along the Bush River, between Redman Cove and Towners Cove. The graveyard is off of what is now Cod Creek Road, down an unmarked path referred to by the US Army as Towners Point Road. Denied access - this cemetery is located in a restricted area of the US Army Aberdeen Proving Ground.
