Oldest site of the Droitwich Churches, built upon a spot once occupied by a Roman fort, and later by an early Anglo-Saxon church. Work began on the Norman Church, parts of which survive, in 1180 AD.
The Norman church sustained heavy damage during the Civil War, when Parliamentarians billeted within, and Royalists attacked, destroying the nave and south transept.
The church tower contains a peal of eight bells.
GPR shows 96 graves and 250 persons in the burial ground.
