Search Saint Peter's Cemetery:

This cemetery was apparently originally a cemetery for a German parish, as the oldest stones have inscriptions in German... "Hier Rutt in Gott " (Here lies with God) and many of the surnames are German. The oldest stones I saw were 1830s or 1850's. The newest stone was about 2009. Many of the older stones are relatively worn. Some are, therefore, illegible. Many others have in their age fallen off their bases. Some stones are partially or mostly covered by the ground.

Be careful walking around this cemetery! The ground is very very uneven; there are likely more buried stones in some of the sunken spots. I have no idea who currently owns this cemetery; it doesn't like much maintenance is being done, but a websearch revealed the phone number listed above, which has a generic greeting on the answering machine that doesn't identify who you have called. There is no office or maintenance building on site.
