Resurrection Park Cemetery is regulated by the New York State Cemetery Board and the Division of Cemeteries in the service area of the Funeral Consumers Alliance of
the Finger Lakes. It is managed by the Resurrection Park Assoc., 314 Auburn Rd., Lansing, NY 14882. It is affiliated with the Jehovah's Witnesses, a millenarian restorationist Christian denomination with nontrinitarian beliefs distinct from mainstream Christianity.

From 1943 until approximately 1961, the Gilead School [now known as known as the Watchtower Bible School of Gilead], which provides specialized training to Jehovah Witnesses, was located at Kingdom Farm in South Lansing, NY. In 1968 the school buildings and some of the farm buildings and land were sold to New York State for the now-defunct Lansing School for Girls, a residential treatment and incarceration center. In 2015 what remained of Kingdom Farm, a 528.1 acre parcel bordering Buck Road, Route 34/Auburn Road, and Peruville Road, was sold to a Cayuga County dairy farmer.

The Jehovah Witnesses continue to maintain Resurrection Park Cemetery as an active cemetery.
