When I first visited the Pearson Cemetery it was located in a timber forest on the south side of Highway 601 in Greensville County, Virginia, east of Triplet, VA, one-half mile east of the Brunswick County/Greensville County line. One has to consider that timber is cut periodically. The cemetery is behind the home of Walter Thomas Pearson, Sr. (June 5, 1926-October 10,2011) who took me to it some years ago; it is now 2017. Walter was the son of Rufus Vernon Pearson and Sarah Elizabeth ("Bessie") Wright Pearson. Bessie was the sister of my grandmother Mary Ella Wright Moore. Walter Pearson identified the graves for me including three unknown graves marked only by field stones. Others were descendants who died in infancy or childhood of Rufus and Bessie Pearson's children which were marked by field stones but identified for me by Walter.
