Search Bulls Island, Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge:

This little cemetery is located on the Island along a trail called Summerhouse Road. It is surrounded by a low wooden fence and contains only four gravestones. The graves are of the Magwood famiy who lived on the island for many years so there may be other unmarked graves. Unfortunately, the stones have been defaced with scapings, probably in an attempt to remove the lichen growths common on gravestones. Fortunately, there is another stone with the names and dates that was later added.
