There are no headstones at this graveyard.
In regards to Fleming County Kentucky Will Book N Pg 80, a deed squabble that took place, over the 140 acres of Jacob Yazel dec'd., from 1871 until 1904 came to show a land division ordered by the court. On the map of the division there is a graveyard boundry that is shown. "Lot No. 9 in two sections we allotted to Sally Yazel. Section 1 contains one acre including the house and bounded as follows, Beginning at a stake near the branch marked 24 on plat. Thence N E ? chains to a stake near a grave.etc". The stake near the grave would be No. 26. It also goes on to state: "It is understood that 20 feet square including the several graves in the N E corner of Sec 1 Lot No 9 is not allotted to any one of the heirs but is reserved as common to all".
On the following peoples death certificates, in the burial column, I came to conclude that this is the place of burial. Most of the people that were buried here had lived on the property.
Look at the map of the Division of Land and then look at the GPS map (in satellite image) and you will see the crook in the old road just like the division shows.
