Saint John's Convent of Mercy is an historical collection of buildings, erected between 1845 and 1860. The convent was designed by the celebrated Victorian architect, Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin.

The convent cemetery is adjacent to the building complex and is accessible to visitors -- it is the burial ground for the Sisters of Mercy (RSM).
