"Ancient" family cemetery for this area before much spread of population, over 225 years old, deep in clear pine woods. Earliest grave was 1789 (Mary Brown) however the tombstone was not placed until after her husband died in 1801 since they're on the same stone. The last death was 1842. There are 10 or 12 random fieldstones which may be unmarked graves. Or not. These would not be slave graves.

The cemetery is still in very good condition but no one has maintained it in decades. The headstones are in very good condition as can be seen from the photos. All of the tablets here are very thin, about 2" thick, and have survived so far.

Only one of the gravestones here lists a full middle name, making it difficult for descendants or researchers to connect for certain. (For example: William & Agnes Lowry may have been husband & wife, but it's not obvious. See also the stone for Thomas.)

It's doubtful that any descendants have any idea where this little cemetery is located; it is considered one of the lost, abandoned, cemeteries. This is in a still very rural, undeveloped, area. There is some dead pine fall, as pines do in this region, but so far no damage to headstones. The cemetery is on large acreage timber management property.
