This cemetery is located on Ridge Market Road(T544) just off of Rt. 56 (Quaker Valley Road). Thomas Imler and his wife who transcribed many of Bedford County Pennsylvania Cemeteries were intrigued by this cemetery but could not find information on it. He mentioned that it had markers but they had no inscriptions. The cemetery is located before the Snook Covered Bridge coming from Rt. 56. From Rt. 56 you would turn at the old stone house. Eventually he did find out that it was a public cemetery started by William Clark Sr. It was used until about 1840 when the last burial was Louise Sleek aged six years old and the baby sister of Martha (Slick) Snook. James Clark, son of William Clark Sr., in his will written 20 Jan. 1826 gave his son William M. Clark the land that contained the Old Stone Mansion & the Old Cemetery. There is a possibility that William Clark Sr. and his wife Margaret Owens are buried in this cemetery. Imler called it an unnamed cemetery and stated that there were many stones but none of them had inscriptions. It is well taken care of and a replacement stone for Louise Sleek is in the cemetery which is the only stone that has an inscription.
