The Bedford Genealogical Society has conducted a survey of Bedford County cemeteries. This cemetery is number 142 (8-B-0142) in their survey, and they assigned it the name "Rice / Bailey" cemetery. It is in the Sedalia area of Bedford County, located at the intersection of Rt 613 & 637.

According to their records there are 8 UNMARKED graves in the cemetery and 0 MARKED. However, written on the back of the survey sheet is "James Bailey died Oct. 1867 and Elizabeth Rice wife of James B. Rice died Dec. 29, 1855. There are six other graves that may be Collins of Rice family members". There is also a post it note with "descendants of James(?) Rice- Lynn Saunders- Forest-434-444-1429"
