The W. Monroe Buff Cemetery was located adjacent to the William Monroe Buff homesite between Lexington and West Columbia. The cemetery can currently be accessed through the parking lot of Southeastern Freight on Devaga Road.
The cemetery contained: "two north-south rows of graves, all but three marked with field-stones. The East Row contained 7 graves north-to-south as follows:
1) William McLaurin Buff (1903-1915)
2) Infant son of Daniel C. & Emma S. Buff (1896)
3) Andrew T. Buff (1875-1879)
4) Sarah Kleckley (1837-1876)
5) Elizabeth Ann Buff (1872-1895)
6) Ann Elizabeth Buff (1872-1896)
7) William M. Buff (1836-1923)
West row, 5 graves north-to-south as follows:
1) Rachel Hook (1815-1894)
2) John Buff (1810-1849)
3) Willie Buff (1873-1873)
4) Joanna Shull (1842-1873)
5) Mary Buff (1884-1884)
The names and locations of the graves were from L.H. Buff Sr. and Lillie E. Buff, who were raised at the Monroe Buff homeplace, as well as from various other sources.
