There are 24 unidentified graves only with field stones, 14 identified. The earliest known burial was in 1912 when Winfield Troxel was buried. There have been no burials since 1949, when Riley King, a World War I veteran was interred. It will probably not be used again as it is within the Big South Fork National River and recreation Area, and to date the Park officials seem bent on keeping all roads closed.
