Search Cumbee Underhill Newman Cemetery:

UNDERHILL CUMBEE NEWMAN CEMETERY, is peaceful and well hidden among trees, in a field behind several pastures on private property. This cemetery is doubled fenced and cannot be accessed without permission from landowner.

Reportedly, this family cemetery is the burial ground of two Indian Chiefs. The two Cumbee Native American Cherokee Indian gravesites of William "Will" Cumbee, who died in Arkansas, with his body being returned here, is buried along side his wife Annie Tarno Underhill Cumbee. Both have beautiful stones placed in the cemetery by descendants during a family gathering.

We are honored the descendants ask our cemetery restoration group to regularly weed eat this beautiful cemetery.
