Aberedw is a village in Powys, Wales.
The ruins of the medieval Aberedw Castle are nearby.
It is also the site of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd's death, commonly thought to have occurred in Cilmeri, where his men were finally defeated.

The church of St Cewydd is a grade II* listed building. A medieval church, on the South side of the road through the village and on the North side of the River Edw, it is said to have been founded in the 6th Century; the present building is C15 and C16. The nave and chancel are the oldest surviving part, then the tower and finally the porch.
