The first known survey of this cemetery was done by noted genealogist Dr. Allan E. Marble on August 26, 1967. Per his usual procedure, he did not give the cemetery a name but instead assigned it an identifying number. For this cemetery, the number was 61. He recorded the location as Perotte.

At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed Dr. Marble's survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb. At that time, the volunteers named it "St. Marks Anglican Church Cemetery" but, in the cemetery index, they listed the name as “St. Mark's Anglican Church”. They recorded the location as Perotte.

Dr. Marble transcribed 85 headstones containing 143 inscriptions. The oldest identifiable stone is from 1848. Dr. Marble noted the cemetery as being in good condition. This is an active cemetery, so the number of headstones is greater today than in 1967 when Dr. Marble conducted his survey.

DIRECTIONS: This cemetery is located on the west side of Perotte Road at Civic #2553, St. Mark's Anglican Church.
