Au mois de janvier 1874 une douzaine de protestants de Caraquet se réunirent dans le but de former un comité pour la construction d'une église. Celle-ci devait servir au culte des différentes dénominations religieuses protestantes de la localité. On comptait parmi cette petite population des anglicans, des presbytériens et des méthodistes; la plupart étant des Anglos-protestants ou des personnes d'origine jersiaise.
À l'arrière de l'église se trouve le petit cimetière dans lequel on peut apercevoir les pierres tombales des familles fondatrices de cette église.
This is the one and only Protestant cemetery in the municipality.
In January 1874 a dozen Protestants from Caraquet came together to form a committee to build a church. This was to serve the worship of the various Protestant religious denominations of the locality. Among this small population were Anglicans, Presbyterians and Methodists; most of them Anglo-Protestants or originally from the isle of Jersey.
Behind the church is the small cemetery where you can see the tombstones of the founding families of this church.
