This Roebuck Cemetery is along Highway 33 about 4 miles northwest of Neptune, Ohio, and about 2.5 miles southeast of Mendon. The 3.5 acres of this cemetery lies along the east bank of Twelve-Mile Creek, which gives the cemetery its alternate name of Twelve-Mile Creek Cemetery.

The Center Township trustees purchased this land from Benjamin Roebuck in 1837, for use as a cemetery.

There has been confusion in the past with another Roebuck Cemetery in this same county. It was given that name because it was land bought by Branson and L. G. Roebuck from Lewis Godfrey, for use as a private cemetery. This other Roebuck Cemetery is in Dunlap Township, along Frysinger Road just north of the St. Marys River.

The two Roebuck Cemeteries are only six miles apart. From this one (Roebuck Center Township), go west on Highway 33 through Mendon to Frysinger Road. Turn right (north) and drive about 1.5 miles until you cross the river. Just as you finish crossing the bridge, you exit the woods and the other Roebuck Cemetery (Dublin Township) is immediately visible on a slight rise along a curve in Frysinger Road.

The cemetery is located in Center Township, Mercer County, Ohio, and is # 7815 (Roebuck Cemetery) in “Ohio Cemeteries 1803-2003”, compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) feature ID for the cemetery is 1045151 (Roebuck Cemetery).
