Christmas Tree or Christmas City Cemetery is located on the south side of Hwy 189 in the mouth of Provo Canyon. In the early settlement days of Provo, it was a mining area; now it is a gravel pit owned by Provo City. It's unknown how many were buried here as there are no records or markers. According to the history located on the Provo City Library website, it is shown on the old town site maps.
