To reach from Kosciusko travel Hwy #12 east to the turnoff (on left) toward the airport; go 1/4 mile to a locked metal gate on the right which is the property of Oliver K. "Bully" Power,Jr., where he and George Thornton hunt. Just inside the gate is the remains of an old barn. Copied 7 March 1987. Follow the remnants of an old road and then walk down a hill. On the slope toward the bottom were found a few broken stones (handmade of concrete with some writing on them) and many evidences of graves going straight up the hill almost to the top of the ridge, not very far from where there had been an old house.

????? born 25 Sept 1867 died 17 June 1870 (broken stone) (evidently a young person's grave)
Infant of George BROWNING, b. 7 Aug 1867 d. Saturday (broken stone)
(no other date but evidently the Saturday following birth)
????? died 17 June 1870 (top of stone missing - no name or birth date)
Two graves - tops missing - apparently children's graves - 2 footstones
Martha BROWNING, died 24 June 1870, dau of George Browning (broken stone - no birth date)
Six graves - all died in June 1870 (broken stones)
(evidently these children were striken in an epidemic of some kind as they all died in June 1870)
Two graves - adult graves just above these but no stones, only a huge cedar tree.
Up the ridge there are evidence of 25 or 30 more graves.
