St. Michael's Church is a Protestant church in the district Heiligenfeld, the Lower Saxon town of Syke in Diepholz. It is named after Michael, the archangel. Built in 1230 on the site of a stone church built a century or two earlier. The name Heiligenfelde means "sacred fields". Legends tell of a monk, living as a hermit resided near this site from the 800s. The site possibly was a pre-Christian place of worship.
St. Michael's is owned and used by a congregation within Evangelical Lutheran State Church of Hanover.
