Located in the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 34, Township 43N, Range 2E. About one-half mile southwest of Catawissa. Samuel B. Rucker died in 1871 and this farm transferred to his son, Robert H. Rucker. In 1879, Robert and wife Myra Rucker sold the farm to Ernst William Kramme, and the property deed generated by this sale reflects the reservation of a burying ground. None of the preceding deeds relative to this property mention a burying ground. This, coupled with the fact that the burial place of Samuel Rucker and others is otherwise unknown, leads us to speculate that the so-named burial ground is that of Samuel and Martha Rucker and possibly Martha's son from her first marriage, John R. Jones, Jr., who had lived on the same piece of land.

A visit to the property in February, 2016, yielded no evidence of a cemetery. The current owners did lead us to a place in the woods where we found piles of dirt and building debris, evidence that earlier buildings on the property were razed and pushed into the woods. The "pin-point" on the map available on this website is based solely on speculation, as the exact site of the burials on this tract remains a mystery.
