A burial ground at Kiln Close, Dibb House Farm in what is now the community of Yeadon was purchased in 1670 by members of the fledgling Society of Friends in the area. They would also establish a meeting house and an adjoining burial ground in Rawdon. The burial ground at Dibb House was in use until about 1699. It is clearly visible just below Quaker Wood on the 1851 ordnance map of the Yeadon area (Yorkshire 202). The coordinates of the burial ground from this map are 53°51”57.5”N 1°42’17.2”W. In the 1894 ordnance map, however, the burial ground is covered by a railroad. The modern map location places the burial ground within a modern housing development. A couple of the headstones from the Dibb House locations were recovered in the 1930s and moved to Rawdon Friends Burial Ground. The railroad company had also placed a stone commemorative marker near the location of the burial ground, but this too seems to have disappeared in recent years.
