Search Monroe Singletary:

Located on the East side of Bladenboro, NC, South of the railroad tracks, beyond the house known as the Haynes Singletary house, Property now owned by Dewey H. Bridger (1984). Note: Majority of the graves are unmarked, except for the shape of the ground. There appears to be 4 rows that would accommodate 20-30 grave sites each. This land came to Monroe Singletary from his wife, Caroline Pait/Pate, who received it from her two uncles, John Ivey and Charles Ivey. They may be buried there but graves are not marked. The wooden markers used have deteriorated.
