Small cemetery that served the now abandoned goldfields mining town of Comet Vale. It is located about 30 kilometres south of Menzies. It is named after a comet, visible at the time gold was discovered in the area, and in 1895 had a population of 500.
This cemetery, like many in this area, has a large number of infant deaths. In keeping with Australia tradition of listing the death date only on headstones, most individuals in this cemetery have no birth date unless other records were found.
Very few markers remain, some indicated by rocks, iron stakes and shells.
