Whim Creek is a small town in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Originally a post office known as "Whim Well Copper Mine", Whim Creek is on the North West Coastal Highway midway between Karratha and Port Hedland.
There is a small cemetery here as well as a to three brothers from the local Aboriginal community who are commemorated for their war service. They died in 1943 in Papua New Guinea as part of Australia’s World War II campaign.
Interments here appear to be almost all male and buried during a very small window - appx 1907-1923.
