Search Strunk Burial Ground:

Amity Township: From Rt. 562 4.5 miles east of Jacksonwald, right on Limekiln Rd .. 8 mile to dirt lane leading to farm situated just south of Weavertown Rd. Site located behind barn, driving back toward power line, first turn to left and then right. Site is at the very top of the incline about 100 yards into the field and is on a very rocky knoll.
Size: 53' x 143'
History: John Wyant Strunck was born in 1693 and came to America in 1744. He and his descendants are mentioned in MHBA, p. 476 which confirms location of site. Site and inscriptions below are also mentioned.
Gravemarkers and inscriptions: One stone in back of house reported by owner in 1998. Another Strunk stone was found in
Colebrookdale Township and affixed to the back of her husband's stone at St. Paul's, Amityville. (BCAGP - 1996)
