Search Johnnie Ramsey Cemetery:

From Gatlinburg, turn a stoplight #3 on to Hwy 321 going toward Cosby TN. From the light #3 go 13.5 miles and you will see Smokey Bear Campground on the left. About 50 yards past that on the right there is a small pull off. Park here. On the pull off you will see an old road/path with a log across it, going up the hill. Follow the path/road about 1 mile. Near the end you will see a sign post on the left pointing you to Old Settlers Trail. Follow the path along the rock wall a few hundred yards to Webb Creek. You will have to cross the creek here. Once across, there is a rock wall with a gap in it several feet wide. Go through the gap continuing straight. Do not follow either fence line left or right. Keep walking straight and you will begin seeing a 300 ft. hill with some large trees on the top, straight ahead. At the top of this hill is Johnnie Ramsey Cemetery. Just at the foot of this hill is a creek. Turn left at the creek and follow it up stream, till you see an old Wash Tub on the other bank of the stream. Cross the stream and climb up this hill to the top where the cemetery is. There are two stones, "Johnnie Ramsey" and behind it about 6 foot is a small stone that has inscription of "J.R."
