The Hudnall Family Cemetery is located at 100 Cherry Ridge Rd. (Rt. 82) on the old Hudnall family farm in Alexander Township, near Albany, in Athens County, Ohio. From Albany, Ohio, take Rt. 681 to Rt. 69 then to Rt. 82, about a 6 mile drive.
Several Hudnall family graves are located there which is deep into the thickly-forested Ohio woodlands. Foremost among the gravestones is that of "Thomas Hudnall, Virginia Militia, Revolutionary War". At one time, it was notably marked with an American flag that was placed on the grave annually by a group of women.
Another stone is that of Thomas' grandson, Joseph Hudnall, son of William, and builder of a log cabin that once stood on the farm. Joseph's wife Lucy and daughter Ruth are also named on that gravestone.
Some have referenced this cemetery as the Bolin Cemetery. Although Samuel Bolin and his wife, Mary Ann Hudnall (daughter of Thomas Hudnall) are buried in this cemetery, there is a Bolin Cemetery located near the intersection of U.S. Route 50 and Township Road 3, west of Weaver Chapel, just off of US Route 50 in Vinton County, Ohio (0.7 mi. from Athens County). The Bolin Cemetery is approximately 11 miles from the Hudnall Family Cemetery.
