Salem Methodist Church Cemetery, ND State Health Department # 1085, is located in the SW corner SW1/4 33-141-57 Noltimier Township. 45-58.952N, 097-55.015W. This cemetery is abandoned to tall weeds and overgrown lilacs. Some of the stones have fallen. We could easily have missed some markers here. It is located four miles north of I-94 exit 296, left a bit on 10th St SE and maybe 200 yards north on 122nd Ave SE, on the east side of the avenue. The 1931 map of this cemetery, on file with the County Recorder does contain some lot owner or burial names. We were not able to find any official church or cemetery records here.

I was at this cemetery in the fall of 2014 and it had been very recently mowed and cared for. This can no longer be considered an abandoned cemetery.
