Additional information
Approach Otterburne on Hwy 303, cross the bridge over the Rat River & then turn west at the road with the checkerboard sign on the east side of Hwy 303 (i.e, MB-34N). The cemetery is about 2 miles (3.2 km) west of that junction, with two entrances at the extremities of a curve in the road.

The small cemetery is fenced with many trees on the site. The grass is short and the cemetery is taken care of. The earliest death date on a marker seems to be that of Warren R. McVicar, who died February 2, 1895. (Source: Manitoba Genealogical Society [Adapted])
· Dominion Land Survey coordinates: LSD02-26-06-03-E1
· In the Rural Municipality of De Salaberry
A part of the story of the town and its inhabitants from the early days of European settlement through roughly 1984 is told in French in the volume "Otterburne - Hier... Aujourd'hui". A free digital version of this and many other Manitoba local history books can be found online in the University of Manitoba Digital Collections. There is also a list of such books organized by district and town name on the Manitoba Historical Society's website on their page entitled "Finding Aid: Manitoba Local History Books".
A list of burials in this cemetery is available from the Manitoba Genealogical Society, as transcribed by members in 1989 and rechecked in 2001. Also available to MGS members is a searchable online database named the MGS Manitoba Name Index (or MANI).
