Hamlin is an unincorporated community in Central Alberta in Smoky Lake County. The area was originally settled in 1903 by settlers from the Bukovyna region of Ukraine.

Hamlin is situated 15 kilometres (9.3 miles) south of Highway 28 and 125 kilometres (78 miles) southwest of Cold Lake.

The Saint Mary's Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church and Cemetery are located on Township Road 580 and south on Range Road 134. The headstones face east, and the cemetery has a beautiful view to the southeast.
