This cemetery was dedicated in 1852.
This cemetery has been documented as being at 693 Pond Street. In 1977, the lot was divided. The cemetery is now on the new lot, number 713. The stones are said to have been removed to make way for a lawn. The bodies were not removed.
What happened to the stones?
The Massachusetts Historical Commission does not refer to this cemetery in MACRIS.
This burial place is referenced to in the book "Epitaphs in Old Bridgewater, Massachusetts", by Williams Latham. His remarks concerning this cemetery were "In 1852, Peleg Osbourn dedicated a small piece of land in front of his house for a private burial-place. It now has some five or six graves upon it. He died Aug. 27, 1864, aged 77, and was buried upon it.".
[Williams published his book in 1888. If he is one of the stones, and assuming that his wife is buried there, then who is memorialized with the other stones?]
