At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed Dr. Marble's survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb and, at that time, the volunteers named it "Litchfield Cemetery" and cited the location as Litchfield.
It is unclear if this cemetery was ever part of Litchfield. Possibly it was and a boundary shift occurred at some point in time. What we do know is that today the location of the cemetery is definitely in the community of Delaps Cove. This may create some confusion for researchers when they come across an obituary or death record that cites the burial location as Litchfield. Present day there is no cemetery in Litchfield, hence the name of this cemetery involving both communities – Litchfield and Delaps Cove Cemetery. In Delaps Cove.
