The churchyard of St. Mary's Upton comprises a small area, with most graves occupying the lawn space south of the Church itself and bounded by Ford Road. The Church itself was consecrated in 1868, and the majority of graves are from this time to WWI. Although there are a few more recent memorials, most have since taken place at Salacre Lane or Landican Cemeteries. Pedestrian access to the site is from a wooden gate on Ford Road.
