The Moore family cemetery is located on the west side of Hwy 11 at Reece City. From the Attalla City Hall, travel north on North 4th Street which becomes U.S. Hwy 11. Go. 3.7 miles and the cemetery is behind the home of Dolan Smith (as of 1997).
Irene Williams, teacher at Etowah High School in the 1930s, wrote "These Are Mine", which mentions this family. On one occasion when a family member had died, she says they were buried at the Moore Spring. The spring is located on the east side of U.S. Hwy 11 and is in front of the Dolan Smith home. There are 5 to 6 unmarked graves other than those listed in these records.
