St. Joachim Roman Catholic Church, built in 1898 and dedicated in 1901, is a dominant feature in La Broquerie. Construction was carried out by volunteers from the parish and was supervised by the local priest, Father Alexandre Giroux. It is a municipally designated heritage building (2000). Some restoration of the building was done as part of the Manitoba Prairie Icons Project.
