Precious Blood Churchyard

The Precious Blood Churchyard at one time held the remains of Reverend Andre Dufresne. He was the founder of the church in 1869. His gravestone and body were moved to the Precious Blood Cemetery in 1989 when the church was dismantled. He was the only person buried in the churchyard. In his new location he is facing the memorial stone to the Precious Blood Church fire of 1875. The churchyard was found on Cabot Street between Clemente Street and South East Street (Clemente Street was formerly called Park Street).
