There are two Badgley cemeteries in St. Clair co., IL. The Historic Badgley cemetery is located in the NW 1/4 of Section 3 of Township 1 North, Range 8 West, St. Clair Township, St. Clair co., IL. It is located off the old Drake Road, now called Frank Scott Parkway East, almost across from a brick Baptist church, on land which in 1984 was the Robert Jennings Farm in Fairview Heights. Neither the farmhouse nor the cemetery can be seen from Drake Road, and to reach them, one must take a dirt farm road back to a grove of trees. The tombstones are to the right of the house within the wooded area. All were laying flat on the ground, covered by leaves when I visited it in 1997.
