Located 3 miles from Highway 31E out of Bardstown. Site of one of the earliest Pioneer station in Nelson county, Kentucky.

Shown is today,the site of the springhouse circa 1780-1790,and the rock wall near it, that provided water for the early station. Colonel Isaac Cox was the poineer that established the site.

The cemetery no longer remains, but it is shown on the 1880 atlas of Nelson and Spencer counties in Kentucky. It was located behind the springhouse up from the Coxs Creek, which was named after Colonel Isaac Cox.

Dedication of exact location of the early pioneer station was held May 19, 2013 by the Cox's Station chapter NSDDAR, A bronze plaque was erected at this location.
